Only one Station in Rome offers luggage storage
Note: Storing your luggage in Stations around Rome isn’t quite risk-free as stories say that the staff is unorganized, doesn’t speak English very well and the overall atmosphere is chaotic.
Roma Termini (Central station Rome)
Luggage storage at Roma Termini is managed by KiPoint and is located on the Platform Floor. They are open daily from 06:00 am – 11:00 pm
Pricing is €6 per bag for the first 5 hours and €1/hour per bag from the 6th to the 12th hour, €0,50 for every additional hour.
You might be lucky to stay in a hotel willing to store your bags. This is a great option if you need a little more time to look around the area where your hotel is located. If you want to explore places away from your hotel, it’s possible that some hotels will let you store your bags for a fee even if you are not a guest. However, it’s not all hotels that offer this service to people who are not staying at the hotel, but it never hurts to ask!

La Galleria Nazionale

The cloakroom is located in the basement. It is required to deposit large items, purses, backpacks, strollers, umbrellas, or other objects seen as dangerous by the museum staff.

Open from 09:30 am to 7:30 pm daily
Free cloakroom facilities for bags, backpacks, pushchairs, and umbrellas.
It is not allowed to bring backpacks, camping, bulky bags, and luggage/trolley. Medium and small size backpacks to shoulders can be taken with you around Colosseum. All bags must be checked with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the entrance inspection.
Luggage storage at airports around Rome
Rome Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci) – luggage storage found in terminal 3 in the International Arrival Hall.
The left luggage facility is open daily between 06:30 am -11:30 pm. You pay €6 per bag for the first 24 hours.
Ciampino Airport does not offer luggage storage.
