Ideen blev bragt til live i hans hjemby, K\u00f8benhavn.\r\n\r\nKristian L\u00f8kkegaard tog fat i Jannik efter han havde l\u00e6st en artikel om Janniks ide og have set hans hurtige v\u00e6kst i K\u00f8benhavn. Kristian ville v\u00e6re invester, men endte med at g\u00e5 sammen med Jannik for at forbedre den tekniske side af forretningen.\r\n\r\nSammen har de skabt LuggageHero til det det er i dag. Servicen blev udvidet til London og New York i 2017 og efter en st\u00f8rre investerings runde i 2019 blev der rejst $2.25 millioner USD.
