Destinations in the US for the upcoming Spring Break

As the spring of 2022 is just around the corner, we are excited to tell you that it is time to plan your next spring break trip. This year the March equinox happens on Sunday, March 20, at 11:33 A.M EDT. In the Northern Hemisphere, this date marks the start of the spring season. So get some paper and write down our recommendations.

1) Los Angeles

The “City of Angels” has plenty of sun, sand, and surf that you, your friends, and your family will enjoy. Check out these places if you’re planning a spring break getaway to Los Angeles but aren’t sure what to do yet. It’s impossible to explore LA without paying a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood. There’s nothing quite like this amusement park/working studio, which draws crowds every day. Enjoy themed rides like Jurassic World, then take a Warner Bros studio tour to follow in the footsteps of your favorite TV stars. Don’t forget a visit to Madame Tussauds Hollywood, where you’re certain to run across your favorite celebrities. People looking for fun can visit Santa Monica‘s vast beaches and the pier, where the iconic Ferris wheel and roller coaster welcome everybody. While there are so many ways to enjoy this 3.5-mile stretch of sand, don’t miss out on the famed Venice Boardwalk, where life moves at a different pace. Enjoy a bizarre carnival with Hula-Hoop magicians, old-timey jazz bands, solo distorted garage rockers, and artists. The Aquarium of the Pacific, which is located on the water’s edge at Shoreline Aquatic Park, is a great way to spend a day visiting its numerous exhibits. You’ll be ecstatic to have the opportunity to witness rare and unique aquatic species. While you’re out on the sea, look for marine life and whales. Take a luxurious harbor tour off the coast of California.

For a luggage-free trip, drop off your things in one of LuggageHero’s locations and enjoy the city to the fullest.

2) San Francisco

If you are looking for a spring break destination that combines the finest of culture, nature, food, drink, and all-around fun, then San Francisco should be your primary choice. San Francisco, widely known as ‘The Golden City’, has plenty to offer visitors of all ages. Golden Gate Park is one of San Francisco’s most beautiful spots. This urban park is filled with the right combination of nature and culture, with stunning scenery of the bay and the iconic bridge. Another must-see attraction for visitors of all ages is the California Academy of Sciences, located within Golden Gate Park. It’s a part zoo, an aquarium, a rainforest, and a planetarium all rolled into one. You can also learn about everything, from earthquakes to volcanoes by visiting the entertaining and interactive scientific exhibitions there. The lovely Palace Of Fine Arts is another fantastic destination to visit in San Francisco. The art displays and performances inside will appeal to culture enthusiasts. Enjoy a stroll around the Embarcadero Farmer’s Market that takes place every Saturday. It’s the ideal spot for gorgeous pier views, and organic local food, including the famed Madame Tussauds, which allows families to explore celebrities and pop culture at their leisure while having fun with lifelike wax figures. Pier 39 is the last stop on your Fisherman’s Wharf tour (Beach Street & The Embarcadero). You can see San Francisco’s sea lions lounging on the piers and catch a view of Alcatraz across the bay.

San Diego is the perfect combination of great weather and ocean views. This southern California city is the home of some of the best beaches and nightlife along the Pacific. If you are a fan of great waves and warm weather, San Diego is your go-to destination. Three events to keep in mind for this year in San Diego are; the new Emperor roller coaster, which opens on the 12th of March. Get yourself ready for SeaWorld’s latest thrill ride which is allegedly the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in California that goes up to 60 mph through the loops boosting your adrenaline levels. Are you hungry yet? Because the “Seven Seas food festival” is open from the 4th of March to May 1st on Fridays-Sundays, you can choose from a variety of international street-food traditions, craft beers, and wines, and enjoy live musical performances along the way. The festival offers fresh cuisine with local, sustainable ingredients and flavors from around the world. A little bit later on the calendar (May 7-29) but still on time for your late spring break “Viva la Musica festival” will be there to immerse you into the Latin culture with music and cuisine in a festive celebration with live concerts, dance performances and a family-friendly party atmosphere in the Zócalo zone.

Also, Bill Baggs State Park and Beach is one of the most relaxing places to be.
