The British Museum
Dedicated to art and culture, The British Museum houses a vast collection of world art and artefacts. It is located just a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road, King’s Cross Station, Euston Station, and Covent Garden.
For reasons of security and safety, the British Museum has a bag-size and maximum weight policy in place. For everyone’s safety, all bags, rucksacks, packages and personal items may be searched before entry. The British Museum advises not to bring large pieces of luggage, suitcases, or cabin bags as you can see in their guide.
However, not to worry, because there is a LuggageHero storage location just around the corner. You can store your bags and enjoy your stroll around the museum hassle-free. Equally amazing – admission to the museum is free. And with their daily openings from 10 h to 17.30 h and 10 h to 20.30 on Fridays, you can visit the museum on your arrival and departure day and still get on that train.

"One solution is LuggageHero, which was already on the scene in Copenhagen and London, and has now expanded into New York. Its selling point is that it lets you store your luggage in a local shop, café or hotel, which is often more convenient than having to go to a storage facility at a train station."

"LuggageHero, which Jannik Lawaetz founded in 2016, currently has more than 300 storage locations in six cities (New York, London, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona) and plans to expand to 39 cities by January 2020."

"LuggageHero founder and chief executive Jannik Lawaetz says that the concept was inspired by that mother of invention — necessity — and Airbnb. A couple of years ago, he and his girlfriend rented an apartment in Barcelona via the home-share service. They had a later flight on their day of departure and wanted to continue exploring the city, but didn't want to lug their suitcases around. "
