The Top 20 Travel Blogs in Paris in 2019

After extensive research, we’re proud to announce the 20 best blogs you can find for travelling to Paris as of 2019!

The selection process…

Travelling is about experiencing the best of what a new city can offer and a great place to find inspiration is in blogs. However, it can be a jungle to navigate through the many blogs and content you can find online. Therefore, our team has scoured the internet looking for the best travel blogs in Paris.

The 20 blogs that have made the final list have been selected following a selection according to 4 criteria:

  • Quality of the content
  • The practicality of the tips and pieces of advice
  • Purpose of the blog
  • Originality

In this award, you will find talented photographers, skilled writers, wanderlust addicts, foodies, family travellers, and eco-friendly travellers. Additionally, it is necessary to mention that some websites awarded are not, strictly speaking, travel blogs. However, in every case, the usefulness of their tips or their great content have convinced us to include them.

All 20 blogs have made it as “Best 20 Travel Blogs in 2019” meaning the order is random.

We would like to congratulate all the bloggers that made the Top 20 thanks to their awesome work!

The nominated bloggers are more than welcome to put the following code on their website to use the badge and share their nomination with their readers!

Travel TomTom

In 2012 I left for my second a trip around and 3 years later when I was still travelling I came up with Traveltomtom as a way of documenting my trips and photos. Instagram was hot those days and it made me turn my passion for travelling into a lifestyle. Instagram is fun, but blogging became another passion and my decision to chase making a living out of blogging was the best decision I ever made. All of this is born out of a passion for travelling and is what keeps me going. In the next 2 years, I will visit all the countries in the world, as going places where other people don’t go keeps me inspired.

Kasia Writes is about travelling with a historical perspective and culture of the places I visit. I like to bring my readers to places most have only read about or seen in movies. It’s as if I walk in the footsteps of those that came before us and bring the readers along for the ride. While it might not appeal to everyone, those who like travel, history and interesting stories will definitely enjoy it. At least that’s the idea.

It’s definitely not meant to be a history lesson, rather a reflection on the places I visit and why they are important. Some of them are places I’ve learned about and want to see for myself. Others are ones that I have always wanted to see. I hope to inspire my readers to learn more about the places they visit so they can become responsible travellers.”

For the longest time, I was limited to a corporate job, and I didn’t let that stop me from using up every vacation day to explore the world. For anyone out there with a thirst for travel, it is more than possible to hold a 9-to-5 job AND quench your wanderlust! And for anyone interested in travel blogging, I try to be as transparent as possible about what that looks like, how much I actually earn, and the journey along the way!

We are full-time bloggers and focus our energy on sharing real-life travel tips to our readers. The reason why we moved abroad was one of our first trips to Europe, we sat under the Eiffel Tower and watched it glitter and sparkle that night. We were so enthralled, we knew that we had to try and move abroad.

Becky Excell

Becky Excell created the blog in 2013. When I was first told it was game over for me and gluten. So I started posting/creating gluten-free recipes for all the things I missed eating… and it turned out that loads of other people missed the same kinda things as I did! Since then I’ve dedicated my blog to help make gluten-free people’s lives easier in whatever way I can – with recipes, travel guides or new product finds.

I love to travel and because eating out abroad can be a very stressful experience when you’re gluten-free, I always try to create travel guides for my audience whenever I can. Nobody should have to miss out on seeing the world just because of gluten!

What makes my blog unique?

I guess the thing that makes my blog unique is myself. I like to think that in every word I type, or in every photo I take, there’s a little bit of me in everything! Instead of just being a blog where I dump recipes on people and head straight for the exit, I use my blog as a bit of a scrapbook of what I’ve been up to. It’s as much for me to look back on and be like ‘oh, I remember doing/creating that – that was fun!’ as it (hopefully) is for everyone else to enjoy.

Robin is also a huge foodie who loves eating her way through a destination! She believes one of the best ways to explore a destination and connect with locals and their culture is through food.
