St Peter’s Basilica
St. Peter’s Basilica, also called Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano is known as “the greatest church in Christiendom.” It is believed to be the burial place for St. Peter, hence the name.
The original church was built in the 4th century by Emperor Constantine the Great.
