Schwedenplatz
The Schwedenplatz (meaning Sweden Square) is a square in the Innere Stadt District of central Vienna. It houses the Schwedenplatz station which is on Line U1 and line U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn.
The station, formerly known as Stadtbahn, opened in 1979.
There are plenty of things to do near Schwedenplatz, such as visiting St. Rupert’s Church (Ruprechtskirche) and the Stadttemple Synagogue. Fine dining and relaxing at the many restaurants and bars such as Hard Rock Cafe Vienna, Jazzland and Das Loft Bar and Lounge is also a great option.
Perhaps the most fascinating thing you can do while on Schwedenplatz is to experience the Riding Dinner. The restaurant/carriage ride combines the service of being directly served food and beverages during your horse-carriage ride through Vienna.
Imagine enjoying the typical Viennese specialities while sightseeing. You get to experience the best of both worlds and what better way to do this than to have stored your luggage at one of our drop-off locations beforehand?
With the closest storage location just steps away from Schwedenplatz, you won’t have to spend a minute dragging along your heavy bags while exploring Vienna.
Storing your luggage at any of our bag drop-offs will give you access to many other popular tourist locations around Vienna such as Stadtpark, Leopoldstadt and Wieden.
Next time you’re in Vienna, leave your bags with us and start making memories!

"LuggageHero, which offers online booking with a credit card — thus, eliminating the need for users to have local currency on hand — is one of the most recent players to expand its services. In December the company began operating in New York, where today it has some 250 locations."

"One solution is LuggageHero, which was already on the scene in Copenhagen and London, and has now expanded into New York. Its selling point is that it lets you store your luggage in a local shop, café or hotel, which is often more convenient than having to go to a storage facility at a train station."
-
"LuggageHero, which Jannik Lawaetz founded in 2016, currently has more than 300 storage locations in six cities (New York, London, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona) and plans to expand to 39 cities by January 2020."

"LuggageHero founder and chief executive Jannik Lawaetz says that the concept was inspired by that mother of invention — necessity — and Airbnb. A couple of years ago, he and his girlfriend rented an apartment in Barcelona via the home-share service. They had a later flight on their day of departure and wanted to continue exploring the city, but didn't want to lug their suitcases around. "
