Note: In central Berlin luggage or purchases can be locked at lockers by the hour. They are located at the large train stations. In all stations, the cost is 4 Euros for a small locker, 6 Euros for a large locker (per 24 hours). Some stations offer hourly rates.

Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)

Open 06:15 am – 11:15 pm, 7 days a week.

For safety reasons, the lockers are located in the car park outside the main building in area C. Pricing depends on the size of the lockers and range between 4 and 6 Euro a day.

Central Bus Station ZOB

Storage Lockers accessible 24/7

The Central bus station Berlin ZOB has video monitored lockers which are available in all sizes.
They cost between 2 to 5 Euro per day.

Hotels

You might be lucky to stay in a hotel willing to store your bags. This is a great option if you need a little more time to look around the area where your hotel is located. If you want to explore places away from your hotel, it’s possible that some hotels will let you store your bags for a fee even if you are not a guest. However, it’s not all hotels that offer this service to people who are not staying at the hotel, but it never hurts to ask!

Downtown Berlin: Baggage lockers

Next to the Alex Oase on Alexanderplatz, there are twenty baggage lockers measuring 42 cm x 80 cm x 28 cm or 54.5 cm x 80 cm x 28 cm. They are under CCTV surveillance, brightly lit and accessible 24-7. They cost €1.50 for 4 hours.

Luggage storage at museums and galleries

If you’re going to store luggage for more than just a few hours it’s sometimes cheaper to use self-storage facilities at museums and galleries. It’s also a great excuse to experience a cultural aspect in Berlin! However, not all museum offer this service and you might have to leave your bags at one of the nearby stations.

Neues Museum

Tickets range between 12 and 18 Euro.
Opening hours are every day from 10:00 am –  06:00 pm

A cloakroom service is provided free of charge, as are storage facilities for items which cannot be taken into the exhibition

Luggage storage at airports in Berlin 

Schönefeld Airport – luggage storage found in terminal D in the Arrival Hall.
Opening hours are daily between 08:00 am -11:30 pm, except for Saturday when it is open from 08:00 am – 6:00 pm

Tegel Airport does also offer luggage storage in the Service Centre of Terminal A. Wrapping of luggage and postal services can also be found here.
Opening hours are daily between 05:00 am – 10:30 pm.
